Landscaping & Sod
Video
Hernando & Pasco

Every lawn looks the same in a photo. The install doesn’t. We film the day a yard goes from dirt to green.

The Problem

Green grass photographs the same for everybody.

Scroll any landscaper’s page and it’s the same picture forty times: a finished lawn, taken from the driveway. It’s nice work, and it doesn’t separate you from the guy down the road who posts the same shot.

What people don’t see is the part that proves you’re good. The grading, the pallets coming off the truck, a crew laying rolls tight so the seams disappear, and a putting green shaped until the ball breaks the way it should. That’s the part we film. Homeowners in Spring Hill and builders in Wesley Chapel both watch it, for different reasons.

What We Film

What we film.

01Install day, start to finishProcess+

Prep, pallets, the first roll and the last one. Process video gets watched all the way through because people want to see how it ends.

02Dusk and lightingMood+

Landscape lighting only sells after dark. We schedule those shots for the last light so the work shows the way the homeowner will actually see it.

03Specialty buildsCraft+

Putting greens, pavers, fire pits, beds and borders. This is the high-ticket work, and it deserves more than a phone photo.

04The crewTrust+

Your people, your trucks, your logo on the shirt. Homeowners are letting you into their backyard, so let them meet you first.

05Builder-facing cutsB2B+

Short, fast proof of how many homes you can turn and how clean you leave a site. It’s the video you send a superintendent.

“Josh and ApeShot have done a great job filming content for my landscape company! Highly recommend.”

Zachary M. · Murphy’s Sod & Landscaping · Google review

Southern Outdoors. Two films for an outdoor-living company that works across Hernando and Pasco. One is shot at dusk to sell the landscape lighting and the finished green. The other is the install day behind it: base prep, turf, and the first putt.

How It Works

Four steps. One shoot day.

01Pick the right job.

A full install with a before worth showing beats a touch-up. On the call we’ll pick the one that sells the work you want more of.

02Plan around light and weather.

Lighting jobs get a dusk slot. Installs get the morning. If rain moves your schedule, ours moves with it.

03One shoot day.

Josh films; your crew works. Nobody has to perform for the camera.

04Cut, run and measured.

A full film for your website and Google Business Profile, reels for social, and ads aimed at the neighborhoods you want to work in. Numbers every month.

Common Questions

Landscaping video, answered.

My work looks great finished. Why film the install?
Because the finished lawn looks like everyone else’s. The install is where people see your crew is careful, fast and clean, and that’s what they’re really hiring.
Can you film lighting at night?
Yes. We schedule lighting shots for dusk, when there’s still some color in the sky and the fixtures are doing the work. It’s the only honest way to show what lighting looks like.
Do you make video for builder and commercial accounts?
Yes. Builders in new communities around Wesley Chapel and Brooksville want different proof than homeowners: capacity, speed and clean sites. We cut a separate version for that audience from the same shoot.
Do you also run the page and the ads?
We can. For Murphy’s Sod we run the Facebook page on top of the filming we did. You can do one film on its own or a monthly plan. We’ll talk it through on the call.
Is the music safe to use in ads?
Yes. We cut with commercially licensed tracks, so your videos don’t get muted or flagged for copyright when they run on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.

Show them the part they never see.

Tell us about your next install. We’ll tell you how to turn one day on the job into a month of posts and ads.
