ApeShot Productions in Spring Hill films your shoot day and cuts it into vertical reels and ad videos, each one made for a specific customer.
Across Hernando and Pasco, most owners in Spring Hill, Brooksville and Land O’ Lakes come to ApeShot Productions with the same folder: a few phone clips of a crew, a truck or a finished job, and a feeling that they should be posting video on Facebook and Instagram. The folder is not the problem. The problem is that nobody decided who each clip was for before it was filmed.
A professional shoot day fixes that at the front. We walk the site, decide which pieces the day needs to produce, and film with those pieces in mind. Then we cut the footage into vertical reels, ad versions and, when it makes sense, one longer film. This page shows how that works on two jobs, so you can judge any reel package, ours included, by what comes out the other end.
If you want the posting and page management that happens after the cuts are done, that lives on our social media management page. This page is about the shoot and the edit.
If you sell five different things, you get five different reels, not one blended video where nothing gets enough screen time. Each reel is short, vertical, and ends on the same ending screen with your name so people remember the name.
The same day of footage can be cut into separate vertical ad videos, each aimed at a different audience, with different shots left in and left out. The camera work does not change. The edit does.
A reel made to be posted on your page and a vertical video made to run as a Facebook ad are not always the same file. We plan both before the shoot so the footage covers each. Running and managing the ads is a separate service.
When a job calls for it, the same shoot gives you a wide film for your website and a vertical cut for the feed. One crew, one day, two shapes.
Most people watch with the sound off, so every vertical piece is cut to read with captions and still land with sound on. Music is commercially licensed.
A short list of pieces, who each one is for, and where each one ends, written before we film.
A party rental company in Pasco County. We shot their attractions and cut five reels, one per attraction, all vertical and all ending on the same ending screen with your name. A later shoot became a second round of five reels.
From footage like that we also cut three vertical ad videos for Facebook, each cut for a different audience. The attractions are the same each time. What changes is which shots stay in, because different audiences want to see different things.
Florida Garage Door Pros, Commercial Way in Spring Hill. One install shoot became a hurricane-rated door ad, shown below, plus a vertical reel cut from the same footage. A second shoot became a services film plus a vertical services reel. The long films suit a website and a YouTube page. The vertical reels suit the feed. The full story is on our garage door video page.

The vertical cutdowns are shown on the planning call.
Tell us what you do and who needs to see it, and we will tell you which pieces we would cut from one shoot day.
On the call we ask what you sell, who buys it, and where those people watch. From that we write a short list of reels, ad cuts and any long film, and decide which audience each one is for.
The crew films with the cuts in mind: vertical framing, clean starts and finishes, and the extra angles an audience version needs. You do not need to perform. Your trucks, your equipment and your crew carry most of it.
Every reel and ad version is built on its own, not resized from another. Each one gets captions, licensed music and the same ending screen with your name so the set looks like one brand.
You see the cuts, tell us what to change, and we finalize them. Posting and page management can stay with you or move to our social media team.
Tell us what you sell and who needs to see it. We will map the pieces on a free 30-minute call.
