Spring Hill & Hernando County

You pay for Facebook and Google ads every day. Somebody in Spring Hill should be able to tell you which clicks turn into calls.

The Problem

Money goes out every day. Calls don't always come back.

Plenty of Spring Hill and Hernando County businesses are paying for Facebook and Google ads that nobody is really watching. Maybe you boosted a few posts. Maybe a nephew set up a Google campaign two years ago and nobody has opened it since. Clicks show up. A handful of forms arrive from people two counties away, or from someone who wanted to buy the thing you install. Ask what is working and you get a screenshot of numbers with no straight answer attached.

In Hernando County the first leak is often the map. Spring Hill sits a few miles off the Gulf, so any circle big enough to cover the county spends part of the budget over open water and reaches up past Weeki Wachee toward places your trucks never go. Brooksville is its own market with its own searches. Facebook and Google both let you pick towns and zip codes, so we list the towns you actually drive to. Pasco is the opposite problem: Hudson and New Port Richey run together along US 19, and a shop near the county line can get half its calls from across it. If those towns are on your route, the ad area should name them.

ApeShot Productions is a studio at 4520 Commercial Way in Spring Hill. We make the ads, run them on Facebook, Instagram and Google, build the page a click lands on when the ad needs one, and look at the account every week. Ads are one part of our marketing services, and the same people who film your commercial are the ones reading the results.

What We Handle

The whole chain, ad to phone call.

01The ads themselvesCreative+

Commercials and short vertical cuts filmed at your business and cut for the feed, plus the ad graphics, which we design too. One ad per kind of customer and per kind of job, not one ad for everybody. Our video production side makes them, and the music is commercially licensed.

02Facebook and Instagram adsFeed+

Ads that reach people who fit the job before they start searching: the homeowner who has been thinking about a garage, the builder who just won three bids. We write the words, choose who sees them and set up Facebook’s own form or a page, whichever suits that ad.

03Google search adsGoogle+

Ads that show up when someone types what you do. We split them by what people type, give each group its own ad text and keep a list of searches we refuse to pay for. Once your ads account and your Google profile are linked, Google can show your address, rating and Call button on the ad. That profile is its own job; see Google Business Profile management.

04Where the click goesLanding+

Facebook’s form, a page on your site, or a page built for one ad. We pick per ad, then check the boring parts: it loads fast on a phone, the number can be tapped, the form lands in a real inbox. When your site is the problem, see website design in Spring Hill and Brooksville.

05Ad area drawn by townLocal+

A list of the towns and zip codes on your route instead of a ring on a map, set separately for each campaign when you serve different areas for different work.

06A weekly look and a cut listWeekly+

Every week somebody opens the account, turns off what is not bringing leads and moves the money toward what is. We also check that every call and every form is being counted once and reaches a person, then tell you what happened in plain words.

Real Account · Holmes Drafting Services

One local account, piece by piece.

Holmes Drafting Services is a drafting firm on Commercial Way in Spring Hill that draws house plans, additions, garages and barndominiums for homeowners and builders. We run their Facebook, Instagram and Google ads and make everything in them. Below are three parts of that account you can open on your own phone today.

The homeowner ads name one project. An ad that named a single project, a barndominium, did better than the general plans for your home ad. So every homeowner ad on the account now names one job: a barndominium, a garage, a pool house, a screen enclosure, a remodel or an addition, each with its own one-line hook. The barndominium ad reads, “Barndos aren’t bought. They’re drawn.”

Most homeowner ads on this account use Facebook’s own form, because the person never leaves Facebook and more of them finish it. Some buyers want to look around before they give out a number, so the ads meant for them send people here instead. The page opens with a call button, then asks one easy question before any contact details: what are you building? Three taps on the picker and the brief is started. We built it for the phone first, because that is where a Facebook click arrives. It lives at holmesdraftingservices.com/facebook-landing/.

HDS drives a wrapped car with a QR code on it. Somebody scanning it in a parking lot should not land on a homepage written for a different visitor. The code opens a page of its own that thanks them for scanning the HDS car, shows a real HDS plan sliding into the finished house, and puts the call and a short form at the top. Scans are tagged, so they are counted apart from the online ads. The page went live at the end of September 2026, and we are not claiming results from it yet. Scan or no scan, you can see it at holmesdraftingservices.com/tesla/.

Builders read drawings for a living. An earlier HDS ad built on a photo of a marked-up plan sheet drew the most clicks of any contractor ad on the account, so the September contractor set went back to photographs, and this ad extends that one: a plan sheet marked up in red pencil, under a line about what a builder worries about at the permit counter. ApeShot shot the photo.

The Google side is split by what people type. HDS search ads sit in three groups: drafting services, house plans and barndominium plans. Each group has its own ad text, so a person who typed barndominium plans reads about barndominium plans. A list of searches we refuse to pay for keeps the budget away from people looking for something HDS does not do.

The Facebook side gets cut too. Every week somebody looks at what each set of Facebook ads is bringing in. One that went a month without a lead got switched off rather than given another month.

What it added up to. From May 2 to July 3, 2026, the HDS ads brought in 313 Facebook and Instagram leads, 260 Google Ads leads and 390 phone calls from Google Ads. 21 signed jobs came direct from the ads, and 75 signed jobs came across the marketing we manage. Those count different things and some calls may overlap, so we never add them into one total. The dollar figures and the rest of the story are in the full Holmes Drafting case study.

Already paying for ads and not sure what you're getting? Bring the account to a free call and Josh will open it with you.

How It Works

Start with the account you already have.

01Josh opens your account with you

Bring your Facebook or Google ads login, or just tell us roughly what has been going out each month. On a free 30-minute call Josh opens it with you and says plainly what he sees. Never run ads? Then we talk about who buys from you and where they look first.

02A plan for each kind of customer

Homeowners, builders, property managers and repeat customers each get their own ads, their own words and their own place for the click to land. One ad aimed at everyone tends to reach the wrong half.

03We make the ads and the pages

We film, photograph and cut the ads, write the Google ad text, and build a page when an ad needs one. The vertical cuts for the feed come out of the same shoot; see reels and short-form video.

04A weekly look, a plain report

We confirm calls and forms are counted and reach a person, cut what is not working, and tell you what changed and why, in words a business owner would use.

Common Questions

Facebook and Google ads, answered.

Should I run Facebook ads or Google ads for my local business?
Many local businesses need both, weighted by how their customers buy. Google catches people already typing what you do, like drafting services near me. Facebook and Instagram reach people who fit the job but have not started looking, like a homeowner who keeps thinking about a garage. Holmes Drafting runs both: in the same nine weeks the case study shows 390 calls from Google Ads and 313 Facebook and Instagram leads.
Do I need a landing page for Facebook ads, or is Facebook's lead form enough?
Often Facebook’s own form is enough, and it tends to bring in more leads because the person never leaves Facebook. A landing page earns its place for Google ads, for buyers who want to see more before they share a number, and for offline ads like a QR code on a vehicle. We decide ad by ad. Either way, make sure the page is quick on a phone, the number is tappable and the form reaches a person.
How much should a small business spend on Facebook or Google ads?
There is no single right number, and the ad budget is separate from what you pay someone to manage it. Pick a daily amount you can leave running long enough to learn from without flinching, and spend it where your customers search or scroll. On the free call we look at your business and give you a straight starting number.
Why are my Facebook ads getting clicks but no leads?
Usually the ad talks to everyone, the click lands somewhere slow, the form reaches nobody, or the ad area covers towns you don’t serve. Check them in that order. The first is the easiest to test: on the Holmes Drafting account, an ad that named one project beat the general one, so every homeowner ad there now names a single job.
Can you make the ads too, or do I have to send you photos and videos?
We make them. ApeShot is a video studio first, so commercials and short vertical cuts come from footage we shoot at your business, set to commercially licensed music, and we design the ad graphics too. See video production for the filming side.
Can I show my ads only in Spring Hill and the towns I actually serve?
Yes. Facebook and Google both let you choose towns and zip codes instead of a circle. We name the towns on your route, for example Spring Hill, Brooksville, Weeki Wachee, Hudson and New Port Richey, and leave the rest out.
Can you guarantee a number of leads or a cost per lead?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls what a click will cost next month. What we promise is that somebody looks at your numbers every week, turns off what isn’t bringing leads and tells you plainly what happened. The Holmes Drafting case study shows what that looked like on one account.

Bring the account. We'll open it together.

Book a free 30-minute call. Josh looks through your ads with you, tells you plainly what he sees and what he would change first.
